8.4. The organiser considers enquiries according to their nature, content and available resources, taking account of applicable legal requirements.
8.5. Enquiries requiring a separate agreement or official approval do not create the corresponding legal relationship until the arrangements have been duly formalised.
8.6. Users are advised not to send banking passwords, full payment card details, copies of documents or other sensitive information through general Website forms unless such information is necessary and is provided through an appropriate secure process.
8.7. Personal data submitted through Website forms is processed in accordance with the TEDxUzhhorod Privacy Policy.
8.8. Submitting an enquiry does not automatically constitute the user's consent to receive advertising messages unrelated to the purpose of that enquiry.
9. Intellectual property
9.1. Texts, photographs, video recordings, audio materials, graphics, design, software code, illustrations, logos and other materials published on the Website may be protected by copyright, related rights, trademark rights and other intellectual property rights.
9.2. Rights to the relevant materials belong to their lawful rights holders.
9.3. Publishing material on the Website does not transfer intellectual property economic rights to the user or grant unrestricted permission to use it.

9.9. If a possible infringement of copyright or other intellectual property rights is detected, the rights holder may notify the Website Operator.
9.10. The Operator considers such notifications and takes appropriate measures where legal grounds exist.
10. Materials provided by users
10.1. Where the Website allows users to upload documents, photographs, presentations, texts, applications or other materials, the user is responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions to provide them.

10.4. If materials are provided for reviewing an application, arranging a partnership, accreditation or another specific purpose, they are used to the extent necessary for that purpose, in accordance with the legal grounds and agreed terms.
10.5. Separate public use of such materials, where it does not follow from the lawful purpose for which they were provided, requires the relevant permission or another appropriate legal basis.

11.4. TEDx talks are recorded and distributed in accordance with separate permissions obtained within the TEDx programme and applicable TED rules.
11.5. The Operator does not guarantee that all announced talks will be published as videos, as the relevant decisions may depend on compliance with TEDx rules, legal permissions and TED editorial procedures.
11.6. Publishing a biography, photograph or talk description does not mean that the Website Operator endorses all the personal views or statements of the speaker concerned.
11.7. Responsibility for the lawful use of third-party materials in talks is determined by law, the relevant permissions and arrangements with rights holders.
12. Partner information and information materials
12.1. The Website may publish information about partners supporting TEDxUzhhorod.

12.4. Partnership does not entitle a partner to influence speaker selection, the editorial content of talks or other independent programming decisions by the organiser.
12.5. Publishing information about a partner does not mean that TED or TEDxUzhhorod recommends its goods or services.
12.6. Use of the Website for third-party commercial advertising is prohibited to the extent of the restrictions established by TEDx rules.
12.7. Partners may use the TEDxUzhhorod name and visual identity only within the permitted limits.

15.3. Use of third-party resources may be governed by their own terms of use and privacy policies.
15.4. The Website Operator does not directly control all technical or organisational processes of third-party services.
15.5. This provision does not relieve the Operator or ticket seller of their own contractual and statutory obligations to users.
15.6. Before making a payment, users are advised to check the payment page address, seller's name, total order price and ticket delivery terms.
15.7. A link to a third-party resource does not in itself mean that the Operator endorses all materials, goods or services published on that resource.
16. Information and technical security
16.1. The Operator takes organisational and technical measures aimed at ensuring the proper functioning of the Website and protecting the information processed.
16.2. Such measures may include:

17.4. Where possible, users are informed about planned maintenance and significant technical restrictions.
17.5. Temporary unavailability of the information Website does not in itself terminate obligations under ticket purchase agreements already concluded.
17.6. If a technical failure affected the processing of a paid order, the buyer has the right to request verification of the payment and proper resolution of the situation.
17.7. Liability for the consequences of technical failures is determined by applicable law and the actual circumstances of the individual case.
18. Air raid alerts, emergencies and Event changes
18.1. TEDxUzhhorod takes place in Ukraine, where security restrictions related to martial law, air raid alerts and other emergencies may arise.

18.4. Procedures for responding to security threats are set out in the TEDxUzhhorod Code of Conduct, Inclusivity and Participant Safety.
18.5. Refunds in the event of postponement, cancellation or material changes to the Event are governed by Ukrainian law and the Rules for Ticket Purchases, Changes and Refunds.
18.6. Force majeure circumstances may affect liability for breaches of obligations in cases provided by law, but do not in themselves automatically terminate all buyers' rights.
19. Liability of the parties
19.1. The Operator is liable for breaches of its own obligations in the cases and within the limits provided by Ukrainian law.
19.2. Users are liable for unlawful actions while using the Website in accordance with the law.
19.3. The Operator is not liable for independent unlawful actions of third parties in the absence of statutory grounds for imposing liability on the Operator.
19.4. Speakers' information materials, talks and authorial positions may reflect their individual views and do not necessarily represent the position of the organiser, TED or other speakers.
19.5. Information presented in talks or Event information materials does not replace individual professional advice in areas requiring assessment of specific circumstances, including medical, legal or financial matters.
19.6. The organiser does not guarantee that a user will achieve particular professional, commercial, educational or other outcomes from viewing Website materials or attending the Event.
19.7. No provision of these Terms may be interpreted as:
- ● excluding liability for intentional violations of the law;

20.5. Enquiries are considered in accordance with applicable legal requirements, taking account of their nature.
20.6. Where an enquiry concerns a legal relationship with the ticket seller or another independent entity, the Operator provides the appropriate contact details and, where possible, assists in resolving the matter.
20.7. The right to contact the organiser does not restrict a person's right to protect their interests by other means provided by law.
21. Changes to the Terms
21.1. The Operator may revise these Terms in response to changes in legislation, TEDx rules, the Website's technical capabilities or organisational processes.
21.2. Changes are made by publishing a new version of the Terms stating its revision date.
21.3. The current version is publicly available on the Website.
21.4. If changes materially affect users' rights or the terms of agreements already concluded, the Operator ensures that users are duly informed and that legal requirements for agreeing such changes are met.
21.5. A new version of the Terms may not automatically alter the terms of a previously concluded agreement to the buyer's detriment unless this is permitted by law or duly agreed contractual terms.
21.6. Where changes involve new purposes for processing personal data or other actions requiring a separate legal basis, the Operator ensures compliance with the relevant requirements.
22. Applicable law and dispute resolution

22.5. These Terms do not establish a mandatory out-of-court dispute resolution procedure unless such a procedure is required by law.
22.6. No provision of these Terms restricts statutory rules on jurisdiction or consumers' right to effective judicial protection.

- 6. Other rules officially published by the organiser within the scope of its authority.
23.2. If a conflict arises between the general provisions of these Terms and specific terms concerning ticket purchases, personal data processing or use of materials, the relevant specific provisions apply unless they conflict with mandatory legal requirements.
23.3. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, this does not in itself affect the validity of the remaining provisions, provided their application is possible under the law.
